Downloads
The audio tracks on this page are all near CD quality mp3s at 192 kbps, 44.1 kHz.
Big downloads (sorry!), but no point in having poor quality audio on a studio website.
If you have broadband they should stream live OK.
If not, download to your hard drive by right clicking and selecting "Save Target As"
(then go and make a cup of tea!)
Listen on the best headphones you've got (computer speakers are usually rubbish!)

Complete Example Track List in studio categories
All tracks except Kila recorded, edited, mixed and mastered by The Dream Factory
Band tracks with added Dream Factory orchestra
Kila: Glanfaidh Mé (7049k) (extract)(5'01) - from the album "Luna Park"
The award winning Irish band asked us to produce a special orchestral arrangement for one of the tracks on their latest album. This is an excerpt from our own egocentric re-mix with the orchestra wick turned up high.
Orchestral arrangement, sounds and production by The Dream Factory.

Location recordings with Dream Factory orchestra added later
La Marseillaise (2259k) (1’38) from the album "XV on Song"
Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir - conductor: Keith Young
Recorded in the Hall of the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook, without any accompaniment.
The Dream Factory Musical & Instrumental Arrangement
for brass and percussion was added later.
Haydn: Kyrie (1437k) (1'01) - from the Kleine Orgelmesse
Mullingar Cathedral Choir: from the album A Feast of Church Music
Recorded in Mullingar Cathedral with organ accompaniment.
The strings, which add so much to the track, were created later at The Dream Factory.
Studio recordings with live high-quality MIDI piano accompaniment
which can be converted later to anything
e.g. organ, harp, harpsichord, band or even Orchestra
Brahms: “Unbewegte Laue Luft” (5578k) (4'05)
Edel O’Brien: Mezzo Soprano
If you can't afford a hall, or a grand piano, you might find a studio recording like this
with live MIDI piano accompaniment will "fit the bill".
(See Singers page for details).
Bach: “Bereite Dich Zion” (8601k) (6'05)
Edel O’Brien: Mezzo Soprano
From the same session as the previous track, but treated differently. We tidied up the piano performance, filled in some harmony and converted it to an organ sound. Sounds as if it were recorded in a church, not in a domestic living room.
(See Singers page for details).
Puccini: “Quando me’n Vo” from La Bohème (3566k) (2’32)
Sandra Oman: Soprano
The MIDI piano accompaniment recorded with the voice was converted
to a Dream Factory Orchestral Simulation
Straight location recordings - nothing added
Tchaikovsky: “To Forget so Soon” (3605k) (2'35)
From the album "Tchaikovsky Songs"
Conor Biggs: Baritone / Pádhraic Ó Cuinneagáin: Piano
Location recording in a large living room with a concert grand piano.
Subsequent studio treatment gives the recording a small hall feel.
Christopher Walker: “Teach Me O God” (6062k) (4'23)
Mullingar Cathedral Choir - from the album "A Feast of Church Music"
Joanna Fagan: Soprano / Mary Mulligan: Oboe / Gerard Lillis: Conductor & Organ
Recorded in Mullingar Cathedral.
Sospan Fach (1657k) (1'10) - Traditional Welsh Song from the album "XV on Song"
Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir - conductor: Keith Young
Unaccompanied choir recorded in the Hall of the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook.
Arrangements
“Monkey and Me” (3973k) (2'52)
from Deirdre O’Brien’s demo CD "From the Heart"
Amateur singer Deirdre O’Brien brought us just the tune & words of her song, and we did the Musical & Instrumental Arrangements (including live bass from one of our in-house session musicians). This song was an early recording of ours and is included more for the arrangement than the drum sounds!
